Claro Colombia has commercially launched its new superapp, Mi Claro, which seamlessly integrates core telecommunications services with third-party lifestyle offerings such as gaming, dining, and transportation, among others. This was developed in partnership with Whale Cloud and Alipay+.

Claro Colombia was looking to build a next-generation platform that could deliver a dynamic, all-in-one digital experience.

With over 41 million users, Claro Colombia offers a full range of telecommunications services, including mobile and fixed-line broadband internet and digital TV. To stay ahead in the digital age, Claro Colombia sought to diversify its revenue streams, enhance the user experience (UX), and integrate its services into a unified digital ecosystem.

Since its launch, Mi Claro has demonstrated exceptional performance, attracting approximately 100,000 new users per week, with an overall migration rate exceeding 30%. Positioned as a marketplace and innovation hub, Mi Claro improves user convenience while enabling businesses and third-party developers to expand their digital presence.

Mi Claro has already surpassed 4 million users and 350,000 daily active users (DAUs), providing a seamless digital lifestyle experience for Colombians.

Together, Whale Cloud and Alipay+ provided Claro Colombia with essential technology solutions, including the mini-program development platform, the mini-program operation platform, and the partner onboarding platform, ensuring seamless integration of various digital services.

Building on this success, Claro Colombia, Whale Cloud, and Alipay+ are expanding the Mi Claro ecosystem by incorporating global brands, along with distributors in education, entertainment, travel, and healthcare, among others.

Rodrigo de Gusmao Ribeiro, President of Claro Colombia, stated:

We are committed to driving business growth in the country. That’s why we created a powerful tool to expand their reach more effectively, while generating digital inclusion for all Colombians.

Jaime Andrés Tole Clavijo, Corporate Director of Product and Innovation at Claro Colombia, added:
